About this Event
Join us for the first installment of the Metropolitan Public Transit Authority (MPTA) speaker series, Transit Talks.
This inaugural session will feature a facilitated discussion with Anthony Foxx, former mayor of Charlotte, former U.S. secretary of transportation, and current senior leader at Harvard University. Foxx brings a unique perspective shaped by local leadership and national experience, offering insight and candor on what it will take to deliver world-class transit.
This community-centered conversation will focus on what Charlotte’s recent transit tax referendum victory means for the city and what comes next.
Space is limited and lunch will be provided. Please let us know you’re coming by RSVPing.
