While the Annual Ball is still due to happen in September 2025, MPSU would like to extend a warm invitation to final-year students to join your fellow graduates of the Class of 2025 for an unforgettable evening at the iconic Ian Potter Queen's Hall in the State Library of Victoria. This spectacular venue will set the perfect backdrop as you celebrate the end of your academic journey on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

When ticket sales open in September, you'll get a chance to secure a spot to enjoy a memorable night filled with a sumptuous three-course dinner, a fantastic selection of beverages, a value-filled goodie bag (a really exciting one may we add 😌), and endless opportunities to dance the night away to live DJ beats. Capture these special moments with our professional roving photographer and exciting photo booths—perfect for creating memories that will last a lifetime!

Early Bird Tickets: Opens from Monday, September 15th 2025 to Monday, September 29th 2025 at 5pm.

General Admission Tickets: Opens from Tuesday, September 30th 2025 to Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 5pm.

Who are we to tell you exactly what to wear? But remember, the State Library is a stunning Victorian venue—so think elegant, think sophisticated, think outfits that will help you dazzle against this gorgeous historical backdrop!

Tickets are strictly non-refundable unless the event cannot proceed due to the venue being unfit for use, or under compassionate circumstances assessed on a case-by-case basis. All refund requests are subject to approval by the MPSU.

This event is 18+ ONLY due to the provision of alcoholic beverages onsite. Please bring a physical copy of a valid ID (driver's license, passport or proof of age card) which will be checked upon entry along with your ticket, otherwise you may be refused entry. A photo or scan of such ID is not acceptable.

Ensure your ticket includes accurate personal details for check-in purposes.

In order to maintain proper contact tracing, all tickets must have the correct name and contact information of the attendee using that ticket. Please ensure you update the details on your ticket before arriving at the venue. You may also be asked to scan a QR code at the venue upon entry for contact tracing purposes.

We recommend arranging transportation ahead of time. The venue is centrally located, easily accessible by public transportation, taxis, or ride-share services (Uber).
