About this Event
We've been hard-wired with intense desires that God gave us. We’ll look at what God says about three big desires: Romance, Community and Purpose.
God had given us many good desires like romance, community and living a life of purpose. We are going to gather as a community of learners to dig into God’s Word and encourage one another with grace and truth to fulfill these desires God’s way! Awesome food, new friends, real fellowship with games and indoor and outdoor activiteis during free time.
Austin and Laura Krokos, and Brandon Akins are the seasonsed Master Plan Staff that will be teaching on the theme "Wired for Desire" from God's Word where we see that our desires need to be satified as we "look forward with hope to that wonderful day when the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, will be revealed." Titus 2:13
We'll be chilling at 9,000 feet surrounded by nature and dozens of new friends! Homecoooked meals, live praise and worship music, and small group discussions will be worked into the schedule. Free time will include our MPM Coffee shop, a mountain hike, craft time, and more. Guys and girls will be sleeping in the dorm style bunk house. Included meals will start with a late night snack on Friday, and end with sack lunches on Sunday. Eat dinner before arriving on Friday night.
There will be no cell service and some limited Wifi available for school and work purposes. We want to encourage you to connect in real time with God and others during this special weekend retreat!
MPM staff and some of their children will be up there as well, and maybe a camp dog or two!
