About this Event
In this season of our Moʻolelo Matters Speaker Series, AKA’s Executive Director Dr. Kamanamaikalani Beamer holds conversations with six Indigenous cultural practitioners and mahiʻai from across the paeʻāina to discuss ʻAI - that which nourishes and sustains. Understanding ʻAI as the root of ʻĀINA and the larger systems in which ʻAI functioned and flourished are paramount to contemporary discussions and considerations of stewardship. The valuable insights offered in these discussions serve as the framework for our understanding of our relationship with and to ʻAI, as we look towards a more sustainably reciprocal future.
