The Southwest Symphony presents an evening with one of the most powerful works ever written: Mozart’s Requiem. Mysterious, dramatic, and deeply moving, this masterpiece remains one of the most compelling experiences in all of classical music. The St. George Chamber Singers and incredible soloists Madison Leonard, Aubrey Adams-McMillan, Shea Owens, and Thomas Glenn join the orchestra to bring this extraordinary work to life.The first half will feature Suppé’s lively Poet & Peasant Overture, Florence Price’s heartfelt Adoration, and selected movements from John Rutter’s The Gift of Life, with Mozart’s final masterpiece completing the program.
