Moxy Muzik returns to Joshua Brooks Manchester on Friday 31st October with Darius Syrossian bringing his legendary extended sets back to the basement for Halloween.The Moxy Muzik label boss needs no introduction to this Manchester dancefloor. From his days behind the counter at local record shops to commanding Space Ibiza and DC10, Syrossian has built his reputation on one principle: "I'm into the scene because I LOVE THE MUSIC, not like a lot of people who are into the music because they LOVE THE SCENE." It's this no-nonsense approach that's made his monthly Joshua Brooks residency the city's worst-kept secret for underground house and techno.
Joining him is West Yorkshire selector Keefy G, fresh off his Slabs label release and bringing that raw, deep house energy that's been lighting up dancefloors across the North. His connection to Dungeon Meat's Tristan and Brawther, plus releases like "Like Dis" and "Wildstyle," position him perfectly for a Moxy Muzik night. Miruna Ghica completes the Halloween lineup.
Joshua Brooks' intimate capacity basement hits different when Darius Syrossian is on the decks. That VOID Acoustics sound system was practically designed for his signature blend – deep house, minimal, techno and UK garage woven together over three hours minimum.
