About this Event
March is Women’s History Month (WHM), a time when the nation recognizes the achievements of remarkable women throughout history and reflects on their impact. WHM is also an opportunity to acknowledge the gender-based disparities that still exist today. In alignment with the 2025 WHM theme of Moving Forward Together Women Educating & Inspiring Generation the Mayor’s Office on Women’s Policy and Initiatives curates a month-long series of events that will celebrate and engage women and girls across all eight wards.
The #BeTheMovement Women’s Policy Bootcamp is a continuation of our annual programming, in partnership with the DC Commission for Women. This event will convene women from across D.C. to enrich their awareness of advocacy and review opportunities to engage with DC government to improve local communities.
