Moving On Well Transition Workshop

The Moving On Well transition workshop, delivered by Lifecentre, is free for staff involved in transition support within Salford primary and secondary schools. This includes Year 6 teachers, Transition Leads, Year 7 Heads of Year, and SENDCOs.

This collaborative workshop explores how to support pupils to succeed emotionally, practically and academically as they move from Year 6 into Year 7. It will cover:

• Differences between primary and secondary school settigs from a pupil's perspective
• Evidence-based approaches to promoting emotional wellbeing
• How your school can maximise an effective transition.
