If you find it difficult to sit quietly and meditate, this might be a fabulous alternative.Each week, we will explore a specific theme through movement.
Through an eclectic mix of music, from 70's rock, to classical cello, and all sorts in between. Each track is carefully selected to stir sensation in the body and get you moving.
We start with a gentle intro to help you transition from your busy day. Then, dropping into the body, the rhythms increase and build, creating opportunities to explore different ways of moving. Then we slow down, and have some time for reflection before we facing the world again.
No previous dance experience necessary.
There is no set choreography. The idea is to allow the music to guide your movement. There will be some movement prompts offered if you would like to explore them, but this is a chance to move in a way that feels good for you.
If you have a limited range of movement or fitness, there are chairs available. You go at your pace - whatever that is.
$20 cash or card at the door.
