Moving Forward: drop-in education and employment event for people with SEND or learning disability

Moving Forward is a special event offering education and employment information for young people aged 14+ with SEND and adults with a learning disability.
Young people aged 14+ with special educational needs (SEND), adults with a learning disability, parents, carers and professionals, are invited to Moving Forward on Thursday 27 March 2025 from 9.30am to 3pm.
Moving Forward is free to attend, with more than 40 services and employers from across the city offering information about opportunities in education, employment, health, and community support for people with SEND or a learning disability in Portsmouth.
Adults, carers and professionals are invited to find out more about the services available in Portsmouth. The event will also support young people aged 14+ with SEND who are preparing for adulthood to find out about education, training and career opportunities for the future.
This year's event follows the success of previous years which have been well attended and provided many young people and adults the opportunity to connect with services they may not have otherwise known about.
Moving Forward will be held at the Victory Suite, Fratton Park (Portsmouth Football Club). There's no need to book, just pop along on the day and find out more about the many opportunities available in Portsmouth.
