WORKSHOP AGENDA & DESCRIPTIONS
9-10:30am // Elemental Movement: Consciousness into Form with Patty Townsend
Exploring prana flow in relation to emotions and aspirations: Using earth, water, fire, air, and space, we embody the structural depth, density and levity of each; their qualities as expressed in the unification of consciousness and movement. Introducing each of these elements with simple movements to inhabit, and then bringing in the mind of each. Yoga postures actually arise from there. Looking for the fullness of experience. The culmination of this offering integrates them all (consciousness, form, and expression) in your chosen movement.
11-12:30pm // seeking, finding feeling with Jennifer Nugent
How does movement become the language in which to express ourselves? What does movement do and what can it become? How do we practice our unfolding ecology and dance for each other, for ourselves? I would like to propose living in the questions and experiencing what they reveal; a sort of patient practice; waiting to experience the sensation of you catching up with you as you arrive within the initiations of movement.
12:30-1pm // Integrating Connections: Qigong Dragon Flow with Andrea Olsen
Integrate connections and move energy, thought, and attention with the qigong dragon flow.
