Join us each month from June - August on the green of the Mercer Museum for a family-friendly series of FREE outdoor film screenings! This annual series kicks off on June 25th with a screening of the 2025 hit A MINECRAFT MOVIE! Tickets are available now at countytheater.org/outdoor
The Movies at the Mercer Series is presented in partnership with our friends from The Mercer Museum and Shankweiler's Drive-In. With additional support from our sponsors at Philly Pretzel Factory Doylestown, Jules Thin Crust & Love Bird and Cross Keys Diner.
ππ―πΌππ ππ΅π² πΊπΌππΆπ²: From Jared Hess, the director of Napoleon Dynamite, and based on the popular video game centered around using oneβs imagination to craft a cubic wonderland, four misfits are transported to the magical world of Minecraft. While there, their creativity will be essential to their survival as their quest back home involves evil Piglins, Zombies, plenty of building, and an encounter with an expert crafter played by Jack Black. This film is a colorful and bold big-screen adventure for the entire family! Starring Jason Momoa, Danielle Brooks, Emma Myers, and Jennifer Coolidge.

β’ Gates open at 7:45 pm and the movie will begin at dusk (around 8:45 pm).
β’ Attendance is FREE, but we encourage you to register ahead of time so our staff is prepared to know the number of people who will be enjoying a screening on the green.
β’ County Theater and Mercer Museum staff will be on hand to assist or answer any questions.
β’ A limited number of popcorn boxes ($5 each) will be available to purchase at the screening by credit card purchase ONLY.
β’ Please Bring Your Own Chair or Blanket as seating will not be provided.
β’ Limited parking is available in the museum lot, but walking and biking are encouraged.
β’ There are open bathrooms located within the Mercer Museum lobby. β’ Please ask either Mercer Museum or County staff for help in case you have trouble finding it.
β’ Keep in mind that a can of bug repellent comes in handy while watching an outdoor movie.
β’ In the event of inclement weather (such as rain or high winds) we'll be moving our outdoor screening of A MINECRAFT MOVIE to Tuesday, June 30.
