Massey Bros. presents the concert Movies & Musicals, where Ceol Aoine Choir will perform much-loved songs from stage and screen, in aid of St Bernadette's Church, Crumlin.
The choir will be joined on this magical evening by two special guests - singer and senator Frances Black, and singer, actress and comedian, June Rodgers, who is currently starring as Birdie as Mrs Brown's Boys.
Formed in 2024, Ceol Aoine has performed with many high-profile artists. including Katherine Jenkins, Aled Jones, Vladimir Jablokov, Claudia Boyle, Linda Martin, Rebecca Storm and the Dublin City Ramblers. They have sung in many prestigious venues, including the 3Arena, The Convention Centre, The Helix, Guinness Storehouse, Powerscourt Town Centre and the Botanic Gardens.
MC for the evening is journalist and choir manager and founder, Andrea Smith. The music director is Lynsey Callaghan, music director of Ceol Aoine, who is also principal conductor of the UK's National Youth Choir, creative director of Irish Youth Choir, founding artistic director of Dublin Youth Choir and the Cross-Border Youth Choir, artistic director of the Belfast Philharmonic Youth and Chamber Choirs, and music director of Tallaght Choral Society.
