The Vast Picture Show is a monthly film series at The Hub on Canal celebrating cinema as a shared experience. Designed for longtime movie lovers and curious newcomers alike, this series brings people together to watch great films and stay for thoughtful conversation. From iconic classics to daring, challenging works, each screening is selected for its artistic impact and its ability to spark discussion across generations.
We kick things off on Friday, March 20 with Network, directed by Sidney Lumet and written by Paddy Chayefsky. A wildly prescient, hard-biting satire of media power and corporate greed, Network remains as relevant—and as entertaining—as ever.
