About this Event
Welcome to Movie Night, we’ve got the good snacks, the remote is broken, and everything you’re about to watch is made up on the spot.
In this cinematic improv experience, two teams take the stage like it’s your living room. The first team presents a long form improvisation based on a popular movie storytelling device.
Then, the second team flips the script with a completely original, never-before-seen film. No trailer, no spoilers—just a fresh, chaotic premiere that exists for one night only.
And because no movie night is complete without poking around afterward, the team then presents the “bonus features”—a playful, behind-the-scenes montage filled with callbacks, commentary, and a few extra surprises.
This Month’s Featured Form: The Sandlot
Inspired by a beloved cinematic moment, this narrative long form follows an object, emotion, or idea as it travels from scene to scene—connecting characters, locations, and stories along the way. Each transition builds a richer world, layering moments until everything comes full circle.
So grab your (imaginary) popcorn, settle in, and get ready for a movie night where anything can happen—and probably will.
