An introduction to George Gregan and Aquacore: About PTP – PTP Fitness

George Gregan is a retired Australian Rugby Union player who won the Rugby World Cup in 1999. George Gregan’s middle name is Musarurwa. In essence it means ‘The Chosen One’ and Gregan was just that, given he represented Australia in a record 139 Tests. A brilliant on-field general, Gregan was resolute, determined, and fiercely dedicated. He was near-impregnable, tactically astute and an exceptional defender. Gregan was the Wallabies’ talisman.

Using his excellent communication skills, George has been regularly seen as a pundit on coverage of recent Rugby World Cups and International Games, and as those attending Clare Mount in November will discover is an engaging speaker at Conferences.

A talented all-rounder in his youth, George is a trained PE teacher and is keen to share with you his experiences of developing physical literacy and his passion for helping every child MOVE WELL.

George is the Chairman and Athletic Director of PTP and has been working with Clare Mount to introduce and train staff in how to use the Aquacore. As well as proven benefits to core stability validated by University of Canberra, Clare Mount has found that the look and sound of the water-based Aquacore has appeal to pupils whether used as part of a circuit or as a RISE (Repeaters, Inclusive Teams, Stress- Buster, Energiser) activity through the school day.

An introduction to Kieran Owen and KO8: BUILT FOR THE ELITE. USED BY

EVERYONE. KO8 FUNCTIONAL TRAINING SYSTEM – KO8 Fitness

Kieran Owen is the CEO of KO8 from Liverpool, UK with a background in starting fitness based businesses. He played for several professional football clubs as youth player for Wrexham, Liverpool F.C and Tranmere Rovers.

At the age of 18 he moved to Spain to continue playing semi- professional football for a number of clubs beforeturning his lifelong passion for fitness into a career in 2010. By 2011, Kieran had started his first business, KO Beach Bootcamps, which was a fitness retreat based in Javea, Spain. It was during this period of time in 2014 that he had the idea to create a fitness product that had all the benefits of suspension training, resistance bands and harness capabilities. This is where the KO8 was born.

After showcasing the product to many elite sports teams including Liverpool F.C, England Cricket, Stoke City, Ulster Rugby, and many top level athlete’s including professional boxers, UFC fighters and European tour golfers, the KO8 had the seal of approval as a fitness tool that could benefit strength and conditioning programs at the highest level. The KO8 is a perfect tool across the full range of users, from school pupils, rehab patients (or even teaching staff needing to improve their posture having sat at a desk all day) right through to pro athletes. Diverse enough to suit all ages and experience levels is what makes the KO8 a must have.

Kieran has been working with Clare Mount over the last 12 months to train staff and develop visual resources to develop pupil confidence, technique and independence.
