Please note: 1 ticket will allow up to 4 students, schools are limited to 2 tickets - 8 students. This event is for a very specific target audience.
I NTENT: To increase motivation
Target audience:
Pupils with SEND and those you would consider vulnerable who would benefit from school related physical activity.
This event is for those students who may not be able to access other events in the calendar and would enjoy a more relaxed atmosphere and an opportunity to work with other students. There will not be a competitive element to this event.
Following on from a number of successful festivals held over the last 24 months we would like to invite schools to attend a KS2 Inclusive Learning & Discovery Festival.
The festival will focus on inspiring pupils with and without SEND to play and enjoy unified sport together, challenging attitudes and perceptions of disabilities.
The festival will feature a carousel of Inclusive sports (come and try) with the aim to:
• Raise aspirations of young people with additional support needs to support them to realise their potential in and through physical education and sport.
• Inspire; provide opportunities to participate in new inclusive activity, and encourage lifelong participation
