About this Event
MOVE ON UP parties set South London on fire on the first Saturday of every month for 7 years at the old Greyhound until 2016. On Saturday 7th February MOVE ON UP returns, this time to the White Lion, home of the Streatham Soul Club.
DJ's in 2 rooms will be:
special guest FITZROY FACEY from Soul Survivors Magazine, Funky Stuff and many groundbreaking events spanning over 4 decades.
TONY RODRIGUEZ from Solar Radio and Soul Network.
JAZZY GMAN from London Soul Radio.
STEVIE DUNDEE of Move On Up and the Streatham Soul Club.
ROOM 1 will feature soulful music & more from 1990 onwards.
ROOM 2 where every tune will pre-1990 from soul, raregroove, afrobeat, hip-hop, reggae & more.
Lisa's Kitchen will be serving from their menu of authentic home cooked caribbean cuisine!
