This program, led by expert instructors, focuses on three core pillars: Movement to build strength and vitality, Nourishment to fuel the body with mindful nutrition, and Thriving through mental wellness and personal growth.

Whether you're looking to improve your fitness, learn healthy eating habits, or cultivate a mindset of resilience and success, Move, Nourish, & Thrive offers engaging sessions tailored to help you achieve your wellness goals. Through interactive workshops, hands-on demonstrations, and a supportive community, this series empowers you to take control of your health and live your best life.

Bio: Tamara Nelson (she/her) is the founder and owner of Mind Body Whole LLC. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and master’s degree in mental health counseling from the University of Central Florida (UCF). Tamara is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), and is certified in trauma-informed yoga. Tamara utilizes yoga to help others increase mind-body connection, improve mental health, and enhance overall wellness. She teaches vinyasa-style yoga for all experience levels and offers classes at various locations. She is also available for private event bookings upon request. Tamara is passionate about creating inclusive spaces for Black/African American individuals and other communities of color to engage in yoga.

Mindful Movement Yoga

Items recommended:

Items recommended: Yoga mat (or blanket, towel, etc.), Water, Comfortable clothing that will allow you to bend and stretch. Consider bringing yoga blocks, yoga straps, a pillow, a bolster, etc., for additional support if desired.

Class description:

In this class, we will begin with a moment of brief self-reflection, allowing you to set an intention and turn your focus inward. You will be guided through a dynamic Vinyasa yoga sequence, incorporating a series of invigorating postures synchronized with the rhythm of your breath. The class will end with a guided meditation to help lead you to a place of inner peace and tranquility. This class strives to enhance strength and flexibility, alleviate stress, and promote a deeper mind-body connection.

Mindful Movement Yoga welcomes practitioners of all levels. Join us as we move mindfully, breathe consciously, and journey within to discover the profound connection between your body, mind, and spirit!

Keep Pedaling Foundation (KPF) is a nonprofit using cycling as a tool to build community, promote mental wellness, and provide support resources. Through group rides, therapy access programs, and local partnerships, KPF creates safe spaces that encourage people to keep moving forward—on and off the bike.
