‘I can’t move like that’ ‘My hips aren’t flexible’ ‘I just don’t get how to do it’
I hear this from other women a lot when we talk about dancing. Both flexibility/mobility and moves/technique are things that can be trained.
We will focus in this session both on technique/moves and on mindset!
How?
Stretching and warm up
Range of mobility exercises and accesible yoga poses
Core dance moves for the hips from belly dance and Latin American dance.
But, the most important thing is the feeling of freedom that comes when you move this part of your body. When you don’t care what others think or how it looks, but focus on how your body and mind feel as you start to move them more freely.
