Through real-world examples, hands-on practice, and guided reflection, participants will learn to communicate with empathy, reduce resistance, and enhance patient adherence. Participants will leave with practical techniques they can apply immediately in clinical or counseling settings. The course also emphasizes building lasting professional-patient relationships and improving overall treatment outcomes.

Learning Outcomes:

By the end of this course, you will be able to:

  • Apply MI principles to improve patient motivation and engagement
  • Communicate effectively using OARS techniques
  • Recognize and respond to resistance with empathy
  • Integrate MI into healthcare and counseling workflows
  • Support sustainable patient behavior change

Target Audience:
  • Physicians, nurses, and therapists
  • Psychologists, counsellors, and clinical social workers

  • Health educators and behavioral health professionals

Why is it the Right Fit for You?

In today’s healthcare environment, effective communication is as important as clinical expertise. Healthcare and mental health professionals frequently face the challenge of motivating patients to make lasting behavioral changes. This course equips them with practical MI tools to foster trust, collaboration, and compliance while improving overall care outcomes.
