About this Event
The Motion Control Workshop welcomes creative people of all types and tech levels.
This workshop introduces participants to the theory and practice of motion control. We cover electricity, magnetism, forces, fields, and how these are harnessed to produce motions with motors and actuators. And we will get acquainted with computer-controlled and closed-loop systems. We cover this material using slides, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises.
This workshop is not about using a particular product or program. It's about learning to understand how electrical currents can produce motion and how we can use this motion for creative purposes.
