Join us for an immersive Mother’s Day experience featuring En Plein Air watercolour painting. Be inspired by the native blooms at Araluen Botanic Park and come away with a beautiful landscape painting. Tickets include a watercolour craft kit so you get to keep all the materials you use, and better yet – can keep painting in the park as long as you like! This is our only workshop where participants get to take home their art packs, making it the most memorable Mother’s Day gift.
What you need to know:
• Where: Araluen Botanic Park (362 Croyden Rd, Roleystone WA 6111)
• When: Mother’s Day Sunday the 12th of May, 2024
• Time: Arrive at 10.00am for a 10.30am start… Sharp!
• Duration: 10:30am – 1:00pm but you’re welcome to go off and keep painting by yourselves in the park after class has ended and explore all the beautiful gardens!
Inclusions:
• All required materials and equipment required for the workshop
• Step-by-step guidance by our friendly watercolour expert, Britt
• Watercolour Craft Kits to take home! (talk about value!)
• Tea & Coffee station
• Entry fee to the park
Venue Information:
This event is intended to be held outdoors in the amphitheatre. Please dress accordingly with a sunhat and a cardigan as May can be cooler. We recommend bringing a rug or a chair to sit on the ground as we will be working on the grass. Our classes are designed to be fun, social and achievable for beginners. Come on your own or bring a friend. Our artist will walk you through the process step-by-step whilst offering suggestions on how to individualize your artwork. Anyone and everyone is welcome. No prior painting experience is required.
