Catch a breath with us!

Mamas, we are delighted to launch a special Mother's Day event on May 10th, 7:30pm-9:30pm @ People's Yoga in SE Portland. This month's Guest Healers are Briana Lynn Cerezo & Tasha Sound Alchemist. Come and treat yourself this Mother's Day Weekend!

Briana will be offering a 1-hour movement to stillness practice to help shake off stress and tension to help feel ease in the body before coming into a seated meditation. Then we will seamlessly flow into savasana/rest with the sound bath exploration lead by Tasha the Sound Alchemist.

Hosted by Margalaxy Snacks.

Mothers Who Meditate is dedicated to providing a nurturing space for mothers seeking solace and self-care. Through guided meditation, gentle wake-up support, and light refreshments; our monthly sessions offer healing and connection to self and our community. Please join us as we feature local healers to help you relax and find serenity within.

Purpose

MWM sessions have been designed to support mothers in our community. We understand that the role of a mother is incredibly demanding, and it can be challenging for them to find time for self-care. Our sessions will provide a tranquil and nurturing space where mothers can come together, practice mindfulness, and engage in meditation.

Through these sessions, we aim to:

Promote Mental Health: We believe that when mothers take care of their mental well-being, they are better equipped to do their important work in the world.

Foster Connection: Our sessions will encourage a sense of community and connection among mothers, allowing them to share their experiences and provide mutual support.

Provide Mindfulness Tools: By teaching meditation and self-care techniques, we hope to gift mothers the tools to help manage stress and enhance their overall quality of life.

MWM hopes to build community and offer the opportunity to connect with like-minded mothers; all while nurturing your inner well-being.

About Briana Lynn:

Briana Lynn Cerezo is a spiritual mentor, embodiment + integration coach and trauma-informed breathwork guide. She helps people build resiliency, reconnect with themselves and find belonging in the larger world beyond themselves. Her work is potent on its own, but also acts as a critical integration piece in tandem with psychotherapy and counseling to bring cognitive awareness into holistic transformation through the body, breath and spirit.

Briana’s education and training include years of study in traditional academia as well as in alternative and ancient healing practices, real-world life and work experience, and a dedicated personal passion for exploring and examining the edges of what we understand about being human.

About Tasha:

Tasha's love for Rhythm and Soul lead her on the path of embodiment that initiated the connection with her souls tune. Through this, it sparked the call to play and share the medicine of sound healing.

Sharing her music inspires to help others raise their vibration; to get in touch with who they are - brings her so much joy and gratitude.

Creating sound healing music from her crystal singing bowls, singing pyramid, metal bowls and other tones to allow each individual to listen, relax, connect to their breath, and allow the tones to speak to their soul.

Tasha's intention is remembering who we are, by showing ourselves grace and love in all moments of our lives.
