Mothers Of Design: The Double Shift
Join us for an open and honest conversation about the realities of balancing motherhood and a career in design. The Double Shift explores how the experiences of mothering at home and leading at work shape the way we design, collaborate, and show up in our professional lives.
Through personal stories and shared insights, we’ll discuss the challenges, creativity, empathy, and resilience that come from navigating both worlds. From managing deadlines and daycare to finding inspiration in everyday life, this conversation celebrates how motherhood influences our work, our leadership, and the spaces we create.
Following the panel, attendees and panelists will have the opportunity to participate in a live recording for the Imagine a Place podcast, hosted by Maria VanDeman. Produced by OFS, the podcast explores the power of place and the human stories behind design. Guests who are interested can join in additional conversations as the episode is recorded, offering a chance to share their perspectives and be part of the story.
