About this Event
Motherhood is never-ending. When children are young, there are tons of resources to guide parents from birth through the “college years”. As our children get older, the resources become more and more limited, leaving us to handle life’s challenges with our children on our own.
Yet we’re still mothers and we still love them. How do we navigate the inevitable changes and our continued, yet ever-evolving roles, as mothers and women?
Join us for an informal discussion about motherhood and womanhood as mothers of adult children.
About the Host
Mary Jo is the mother of two grown children. Over the years, challenges have arisen that changed her thinking about her own roles as a mother and a woman. She then noticed she wasn't alone and many women had similar challenges.
She has adopted the saying, "Not my circus. Not my monkeys.", which she has passed onto many other mothers. She would love to discuss this and the many other layers of this topic with you over tea and goodies.
She looks forward to talking with you!
