Between the 1st and 5th centuries CE, Mothers of all kinds were honored throughout Northwestern Europe around the time of the Winter Solstice on the holiday known as Mōdraniht. They had names such as “The Mother of Rivers,” “The Mother of Otters,” or “The Mother of Elm Trees.” About half of them have Celtic names, and the other half have Germanic names. This nurturing and magical evening will include three elements:Presentation🦌
