About this Event
Learn how to make your own terrarium at our Mother's Day Special Terrarium workshop. Get in touch with nature and bring out your creative side at our fun and informal terrarium workshop. It is suitable for all abilities, even if you don't think you have green fingers! Perfect relaxing activity for busy mums, or great idea for a day out with a difference, a birthday treat, hen party, or just a gathering of family or friends.
You'll learn about the history and science behind these fascinating creations and we'll show you the necessary techniques needed to build your own. Then we let your creativity take over! But don't worry, we're there to guide you all the way.
We'll also teach you how to look after your terrarium when you get it home so that you can enjoy it for years to come.
We provide everything you need including the glass terrarium bottle (20cm tall), a selection of suitable plants to choose from, the tools and compost, etc.
You'll be able to take your new terrarium home with you at the end of the session and we'll give you a care card to remind you how to care of it.
Our shop is situated in the heart of Shrewsbury. It's easy to get to, close to many shops, restaurants and cafes, so come and make a day (or a night) of it!
