After Mother’s Day brunch, bring mom out to the refuge on Saturday, May 9th for a fun and engaging terrarium building workshop! In this special Mother’s Day workshop, you’ll receive everything you need to build your very own terrarium. Led by Shannon Gladden of Spruce by Shannon, this workshop will walk you the steps of building your own terrarium and how to care for it when you take it home.This event is rain or shine and will take place at Cedar Run in our watershed pavilion. Stop in the Nature Center for directions.
BYOB – beer and wine only. This event is 21+. $50/adult. Refuge Members save 10%! 25 participants maximum. Advanced registration required. Fee includes daily admission to the Refuge for the participant.
Spruce by Shannon will donate a portion of the proceeds from the event towards supporting Cedar Run’s mission of the preservation and protection of New Jersey’s wildlife and habitats through education, conservation, and rehabilitation.
