Inspired by the classic Brit-com Keeping Up Appearances, think crisp linens, proper scones, and the sort of gathering where one might imagine Hyacinth Bucket (pronounced “Bouquet" of course) making a somewhat dignified entrance. Together we’ll prepare a lovely tea table with warm scones, delicate tea sandwiches, a seasonal quiche, and a few sweet desserts, all while sipping fragrant comforting teas.This relaxed, hands-on class is designed for spending unhurried time with your mum, mimi, or cherished mother figure. Expect good food, plenty of laughter, and just enough British-inspired irreverence to make the afternoon feel special without anyone needing to polish the silver.
Come cook, learn a few tea-time techniques, and enjoy a delightful afternoon together. There is absolutely no requirement that anyone answer the telephone with “The Bouquet residence, the lady of the house speaking.” And Richard, do take special care in driving, and mind the pedestrians!
