About this Event
Join us for a festive volunteering day. We will be tending to our friendly neighborhood street trees by removing litter, weeding, cultivating soil and applying NYC-made comppost. Plus, learn how to recognize common street trees and impress your mom (or anypne else!) with your superb tree ID skills. All materials provided.
WHERE TO MEET:
Meet us in the Clyde Romero Memorial Garden at 213 East 7th Street.
WHAT TO BRING:
Please wear sturdy, closed-toe shoes. Long-sleeved shirts and pants are recommended. Please wear clothes you are comfortable getting dirty in. Hats are highly suggested on sunny days. Don’t forget to bring your reusable water bottle!
