Celebren el Dia de las Madre con Sara Contreras y La Orquesta Arriba El Son en Orlando FL.
The Show begins at 8:00 pm with the Talented Sara Contreras, a 29-year stand-up comedy veteran, is currently staging her second one-woman show “F.R.E.A.K. of Nature: the Last of the Baby Boomers Fall of 2024. In 2022, Sara was selected as the opening act for the 60th anniversary world tour of the iconic El Gran Combo De Puerto Rico. She was showcased as one of the country’s best female comedians in Showtime’s ALMA-nominated comedy special “The Original Latin Divas of Comedy” in 2008 and performed for our military troops in Iraq/Kuwait in 2011.
She’s been a familiar face on Law & Order: SVU, was featured on Wendy Williams “Hot Topics,” and has opened for Charlie Murphy, Felipe Esparza, Paul Rodriguez, Carlos Mencia, and Pablo Francisco. She was selected as one of the 22 comedians to watch in 2022, and one of the top 12 Latinx comedians of 2023. She appears in comedy venues across the country. Watch out for her podcast “F.R.E.A.K. of Nature” and her screenplay “Searching for Sosie.”
Next, is a 10 piece Live Latin Band, La Orquesta Arriba El Son, with the best of unforgettable Salsa, Merengue & Bachata and the greatest Bolero's from the past. Our DJ also plays the best of Old School Latin & American favorites so that everyone from all cultures can enjoy.
We are back at the Orlando Elks Lodge 1079, with one of Orlando's largest Dance Floor and plenty of seats for everyone to enjoy the show and dance the night away.We have a full bar, free parking, and our in-house, Chef Sheila will have a "A La Cart Menu" - selling Picaderas at night.
We will have prizes for Mom's - and Dog Moms.Proper attire required, no baseball hats, or sneakers allowed.
