😊 What better way to make your Mommy happy than to declutter and free up some space, or to go out shopping for free things!! 😘

👌 HOW TO SIGN UP
Message or email us ([email protected]) with:
– your address, including postal code
– a brief list of the free things you expect to have
and we will add your location to our interactive map.
👌 DEADLINE TO SIGN UP
Friday, May 8, 2026 at 10 PM
Late entries cannot be added to the map.

👌 PROCEDURE FOR PLACING ITEMS AT CURBSIDE
– This event runs from 9 AM Saturday, May 9th to 4 PM Sunday, May 10th
– Put your items at the end of your driveway or on the curb during the weekend.
– Clearly mark your items with a "FREE" sign.
– Items should be in good condition for re-use or able to be repaired.
– Keep items you do not want to give away close to your home, or inside, to avoid confusion.
– Remove all uncollected items from the curb BY DUSK on Sunday, May 10th please
– Do not discard items on another person's lawn.
👌 PROCEDURE FOR TREASURE HUNTERS
– Respect private property. Do not walk or drive on people's lawns.
– Take only the item(s) at the curb marked "FREE".
– Obey traffic laws. Do not block traffic or park illegally.
– Please watch out for children and pets.
– Respect other treasure hunter's personal space and distance.
👌 WHAT CAN BE PLACED AT THE CURB
– books, CD's, DVD's
– furniture, small appliances
– toys, sports equipment
– tools, gardening equipment
– kitchen items
– construction materials
– electronics (working only)
– clothing
– holiday decor
👌 WHAT SHOULD NOT BE PLACED AT THE CURB
– Items that are not re-usable.
– Items that could be infested with bed bugs (eg. mattresses, bedding).
– Items that are unsafe to give away (eg. expired car seats). Visit the Consumer Product Safety Bureau to find out more.
👌 WHAT TO DO WITH LEFTOVER ITEMS
– Donate to a local charity or community group.
– Post your items on Facebook marketplace, Kijiji or Craigslist.
– When in doubt, find out. Contact the Recycling Council of BC (1-800-667-4321) to find out if your items are recyclable.
👌 YOUR SAFETY IS UNDER YOUR CONTROL
– This event has a risk of high-touch surfaces.
