Mother to Mother is a peer-led support group for mothers navigating life after birth traumaA space to connect, share, and find support from those who truly understand the experience of psychological birth trauma.
This is a peer support space, not counselling or therapy. You don’t need a diagnosis to attend, just a sense that your birth experience has affected you.
What is birth trauma?
Birth trauma can include:
Feeling unsafe in your birth
Feeling threatened, coerced, let down or disappointed by your birth or postpartum experience
Having nightmares, flashbacks, rumination or feeling intense anger, sadness or numbness from your birth
You are welcome to share, listen, or simply be present. There is no pressure to talk.
This group is for women at any stage of motherhood whose birth experience still matters to them.
