About this Event
This Mother’s Day, slow down & come home to your body with this great Hip Opening, Root/ Sacral Chakra Balancing, 50-minute, all-levels yoga experience centered around Goddess Pose and Malasana (Yogic Squat)—powerful, grounding postures that honor strength, softness & support.
This class is designed to feel nurturing, accessible & empowering, with plenty of variations, props & permission to move in ways that feel good for you. Expect intentional movement, soulful music, breathwork & moments of rest woven throughout.
Motherhood takes many forms. This space is for:
- Mothers and grandmothers
- Caregivers and nurturers
- Those mothering themselves
- Anyone needing grounding, release & love
No yoga experience required. Chairs, blocks & modifications will be offered.
Come as you are. Leave feeling supported, centered & CELEBRATED.

Walk-ins are welcome as long as there’s room!
Must be 12+ to attend.
PARKING
There is strict but FREE 90-minute parking out front. If you think you wanna hang out catch dinner in the area there is a parking garage across the street on Stolp that charges $1/hr after one hour or $5/day, If you dont mind a lil walk there is FREE FREE parking along Benton–one block south of us.
LOCATION & ENTRANCE
We are located on the SW corner of Downer and Stolp, on the 2nd floor of the red brick building with the icicle lights in the white bay windows up above.
Our entrance is facing Downer and under a blue, half-moon awning in a brick alcove with our logo above the door.
The east side of the building spells out “Zen Loft” in the windows above.
