Pop down for a chance to see some of the moths we have here at Mersehead.We'll check the trap from the previous night's catch and who knows? We may even find the odd 'tiger' or 'elephant'!
This will give you a chance to see our team in action, as we survey moths as part of the national Garden Moth Scheme (you can also learn how to take part at home).
Hot drinks and limited snacks will also be available, if looking for a quick breakfast afterwards (visitor centre open from 10am). Additional car parking charges apply to non-RSPB members.
Families welcome, though not suitable for early years. Venue is also wheelchair friendly (please notify us in advance, to let us know).
Please also note that, as the reserve location is prone to flooding, we ask that all individuals/groups attending provide a telephone number, so we can notify you in advance if the event needs to be cancelled at short notice.
