Initially started as a memorial drive for former Motafrenz President Brett Tooke, the Motafrenz Memorial Drive has evolved as a day for us to remember all our former members who've passed away.This year we’re heading to Portsea for lunch, via Merricks.
This year we’ll meet at Daniel’s Donuts in Springvale for donuts and coffee at 10:00am, with a 10:30am departure.
From there, we’ll travel together to Point Leo Estate for a tasting of their five current-release wines ($17.50 per person). Non-alcoholic options will be available for those not drinking.
After the tasting, we’ll drive to Portsea for lunch at the Portsea Hotel (3746 Point Nepean Rd, Portsea VIC 3944), where we’ll enjoy lunch together and a few drinks.
BRING: Yourself and friends and your memories of those members that are no longer with us.
SUITS: The drive will involve some highway & twisty roads, so bring whatever will give you the most enjoyment on that.
ROADS: Sealed. A mixture of windy and highway.
PETS: Pets are not allowed at the lunch venue.
COST: The event is free, however wine tasting is $17.50 pp, and lunch / drinks are at your cost at the pub.
TICKETS/RSVP: RSVP is ESSENTIAL by 23rd April in order to confirm bookings at the winery and the lunch venue.
