Learn the essentials of mosaic technique and design in a 2 day session hands on workshop with local artist Molly McLain. Molly will guide participants through a simple design process and basics of working with tile, glass, and recycled materials and the tools to manipulate them.
Come with the intention to learn, enjoy, relax and have fun.
Make a piece to gift or cherish for years to come. All materials provided.
Participants may bring their own drawings, inspiration, designs, or mosaic materials
(beads, dishes, tiles, etc). There will be prepared design templates on hand as well.
All Skill levels and curiosities are welcome!
First session :
Friday the 27th: 6:30 - 9:00 pm : Design & Piecing
Second Session:
Sunday the 29th: 4:00 - 5:00 pm: Grouting
If you are unable to join us Sunday, we can grout your mosaic for you, and you can pick it up at a later time.
