About this Event
On Thursday 4 December at 6 pm, join us for a preview of the “Mosaics” 2026 Ukrainian Contemporary Music Festival, showcasing Ukraine’s rich musical landscape — shaped by its many regions, cultures, and artistic traditions. Soprano-bandurist Teryn Kytasty-Kuzma will perform a brief program, followed by a special conversation with Dr. Uilleam Blacker, an Associate Professor of Ukrainian and East European Culture at University College London, where he also serves as a leading translator of Ukrainian literature. Currently a visiting professor at Yale University, Dr. Blacker will be joined in conversation by UCMF founder and creative director Leah Batstone to discuss his upcoming book on multicultural Ukraine.
