Add a little whimsy to your outdoor space with our Mosaic Birdhouse Workshop. In this relaxed, beginner-friendly class, you’ll design and create your own birdhouse using the studio’s collection of stained glass, ceramic tile, and pieces of ceramic and porcelain - each one offering its own texture, color, and character. You’re also welcome to bring along any special materials you’d like to incorporate.Finish your piece with a decorative knob that doubles as a perch, adding both function and a thoughtful detail to your design. This class is a creative, hands-on way to explore mosaic while making something truly your own.
All materials and instruction are provided. Ages 18 and over.
Night 1 - Wednesday, June 24th | 6:30pm - design and glue
Night 2 - Friday, June 26th | 6:30pm - grouting and finishing
You’ll head home with grout sealer and simple instructions to apply once your piece has fully set.

Parking: On street meter parking is available on Elizabeth Ave. Free on street parking is available on Chelsea Ave. Free lot parking is located behind the building.
Locating the Studio: We suggest entering the building from Ruch St. entrance (the back of the building). Use the elevator directly inside the building to the right. This is the only elevator that will take you to the 4th floor. If you enter the building from Elizabeth Ave, and take the elevator in the hallway, please note that the elevator only goes to the 3rd floor.
* A note about Sunday Classes - the Ruch St. (rear of building) entrance is closed on Sunday's. Please enter through the E. Elizabeth St entrance.*
