Event Details
• Registration Due Date: 26th March 2026
• Briefing: Evening of 26th March 2026, from 6:00 PM onwards at the Morrinsville Town & Country Club
• Fishing Dates: 27th – 29th March 2026
• Weigh-In: 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM, Sunday 29th March 2026
• Location: Morrinsville Town & Country Club (see event page for exact location)
Important Information for Participants
Skippers’ Responsibility: Ensure you’re heading out in conditions suitable for both your vessel and skill level. Safety first!
Cheating: No tolerance here! Anyone caught cheating will be instantly disqualified and banned from future tournaments.
Weigh-In: All fish must be in top condition—whole and chilled (not frozen). Inspections will be carried out, so make sure your catch is up to par!
Communication: Contestants must have a radio on their vessel tuned to Channel 8 for important updates.
Prizes & Recognition
Catch the biggest and best fish to claim your prize! Prizes will be determined by the official weigh-in, with the tournament organiser’s decision being final. If there’s a tie for weight, we’ll give preference to those who weighed in first. Get ready for some fierce competition!

Cancellations
In case of bad weather, fishing may be canceled, but don’t worry – we’ll still draw prizes from all ticket numbers!
