Morning workshop looking at standing poses and backbends in more detail than class times allow. Yoga poses (asanas) require a balance of strength and flexibility and with practice lead us to awareness and improvement of our breathing. The poses will be sequenced to warm up and prepare the body, find stability in our foundations and then joyfully open up into backbends! Some inversion work will be included but as with all the poses, variations are given if any particular pose is unsuitable for your body or experience. Max 14 students.
