We are happy to add a Tuesday morning Pottery class just for seniors!You’ll make three pieces in this workshop including a small bowl, a small plate, and a small creamer or juice cup.
We use stoneware clay and create with slabs making these great for beginner potters!
Jan 6 make a small juice cup or creamer using slab clay
Jan 13 make a small plate using slab clay and add a foot.
Jan 20 make a small bowl using slab clay
Jan 27 glaze all you pottery using bubble technique!
You’ll get white gloss glaze for the surface glaze plus pick a color for your bubbles!
You can skip the bubble step and glaze your piece any Stoneware brand glaze we have in stock.
SKIP THE BUBBLES IF YOU PREFER TEXTURS.
You could add texture to your hand built pieces using our fun rolling pins
Registration is required for all classes with your payment of cash, check, or square.
We prefer cash or check
Class fee $40 includes clay and glaze and all fires.
All clay reclaim (scraps) belongs to Poindexter Paint and Pottery to be processed for future samples.
No refunds.
All sales are final.
If you register and miss a class you can gift your seat to a friend. We do not offer make up classes or refunds for missed classes.
If we cancel for any reason we will reschedule this event without refund or offer you three pieces made by Hope for you to glaze.
