Join us for a visit to Fern Forest, a 247 acre urban wildlife area in Broward County with diverse ecosystems and 30 species of fern including native ferns. Jimmy Lange will lead this field trip and bring to it his expertise in fern research and knowledge. Jimmy is a research botanist with the Conservation Program at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden and a Research Associate with the Institute for Regional Conservation who has fifteen years of experience working with plant conservation and ecology.
This event is open to FNPS members.
