Join NEDCare, Knead to Connect & Devon Co-Op Community for a joyful, FREE community street event on Saturday 20th June in the heart of Moretonhampstead!
We’re proud to be part of the Eden Project & Co-op’s Big Lunch initiative this year, bringing communities together all across the UK. Come to celebrate everything that makes our Dartmoor town unique - its people, cultures & connections.
What’s Happening?
Delicious Food:
Enjoy a spread of classic British finger foods alongside dishes reflecting the vibrant cultural diversity of our community - think Italian, Ukrainian, Syrian & more! With generous produce donations, we’ll have something for everyone.
Live Music & Creativity:
Listen to local musicians & our wonderful local choir, Dartmoor Harmony, & experience a special short story or poem inspired by community & belonging, performed live.
Family-Friendly Fun:
Express yourself! Take part by decorating some bunting to add to our community display, sharing your message, artwork, or whatever community means to you. All ages are very welcome as this is a true multigenerational celebration.
Colourful Vibes:
We invite everyone to wear your brightest, most colourful midsummer outfits to add to the radiant atmosphere!
Heritage & Togetherness:
This event is all about strengthening connections, honouring our heritage & celebrating who we are as a collective, together.
