About this Event

Join the Creative Calgary Meetup

A curated room for serious real estate investors, operators, and capital partners focused on meaningful relationships and long-term opportunities.

This is not a high-volume networking event. The Creative Calgary Meetup is designed to bring together investors who value thoughtful conversations, strategic partnerships, and real deal flow. The room is intentionally built for quality over quantity — a space where experienced investors can connect without the noise, posturing, or surface-level interactions common at larger events.

Expect conversations centered around acquisitions, capital, creative financing, operations, and scalable growth strategies. No pitching. No selling from stage. Just a strong room of investors sharing insights, opportunities, and experience.

This Month’s Guest Speakers:

Natasha Flemming
Real Estate Investor & Portfolio Operator

Over the last six years, Natasha has built a $15M real estate portfolio while generating double-digit returns for investors. Her experience spans flips, BRRRRs, long-term rentals, short-term rentals, multifamily assets, and development projects. She specializes in acquisitions, deal structuring, and asset management, with a focus on building scalable and resilient investment strategies.

Mitch Hardington
Real Estate Developer & Business Operator

Mitch Hardington is a real estate developer and operator focused on ground-up residential construction and acquiring profitable home service companies. His background includes managing over $150M in luxury residential construction projects and successfully scaling an HVAC company from $3M to $6M in annual revenue through operational improvements and systems implementation.

Today, Mitch is actively developing residential projects across the United States, with multiple projects currently under construction in Pennsylvania while continuing to pursue strategic acquisitions nationwide. His experience across construction, business operations, and leadership gives him a practical, execution-focused approach to building scalable businesses and investment opportunities.

Jennifer Champion

Jennifer began her real estate journey in 2020 and quickly immersed herself in residential investing before expanding into commercial real estate and multi-family properties. Over the years, she has built extensive hands-on experience in acquisitions, renovations, portfolio growth, and long-term value creation across multiple asset classes.

What sets Jennifer apart is her deep understanding of creative financing strategies. Through her own investing experience, she has worked with unconventional deal structures and financing solutions that help investors continue moving forward even when traditional lending becomes challenging.

Her passion for the financing side of real estate eventually led her into mortgage brokering, where she now combines the perspective of an active investor with the technical expertise of a licensed mortgage professional. Today, Jennifer helps clients navigate financing with a practical, investor-focused approach, whether they’re purchasing their first property, scaling a portfolio, or exploring creative lending solutions.

Topic: More Money, Less Problems

How do experienced investors continue scaling when traditional financing becomes restrictive, margins tighten, and older assets create operational drag?

This month’s discussion explores how sophisticated investors use construction, development, and creative deal structures to manufacture equity, solve housing shortages, and create stronger long-term returns. The conversation will go beyond theory and into the practical realities of structuring larger opportunities in today’s market.

Attendees will gain insight into how investors are leveraging private capital, partnerships, strategic acquisitions, and alternative financing approaches to unlock scalable growth. The discussion will also touch on how cross-border relationships, note investing, and development-focused strategies can create opportunities beyond conventional buy-and-hold investing.

Why Attend

Most investors reach a point where traditional financing is no longer enough.

• Limited access to capital
• Difficulty structuring larger deals
• Plateauing portfolio growth
• Lack of high-level investor network
• Challenges finding aligned partners

The Creative Calgary Meetup is designed for investors looking to move beyond transactional networking and into higher-level conversations with experienced operators and serious capital partners. The focus is on building real relationships that lead to long-term opportunities, strategic partnerships, and stronger deal flow over time.

Free to attend. Limited capacity.

Hosted monthly in Calgary.
