On April 20 at 7:30 pm, Theatre Ouest End invites you to MORALITY BITES VI – a night of new short play readings! It’s the last bite of this series at the Centaur, so we hope to see you there 🍎⚖️Since our first dramatic reading event in 2019, and continuing with Still Got Something to Say: 6 Plays on Age, The Covenant, What Rough Beast, and Mickey & Joe (Good. Bad. Ugly. Dirty), Theatre Ouest End has always been committed to making theatre that asks the big questions about who we are as individuals in our political, historical and social context. With that commitment in mind, we are offering a SIXTH evening of 2 short plays by Ann Lambert and Debra Kirshenbaum, each examining a different bite-size moral dilemma with a side of humor:
The Last Relay by Debra Kirshenbaum and Failure to Launch by Ann Lambert.
It promises to be a night of dramatic readings with a difference—you, the audience will be invited (if you want) to weigh in on the choices the characters make. Did they do the right thing? What is the right thing? Is there a right thing?
This event will feature a terrific local cast (details to come!) and will happen in the gallery at the Centaur Theatre.
Join us for a drink, a snack, and an entertaining and engaging night of theatre.

Depuis notre premier événement de lecture dramatique en 2019, et en continuant avec Still Got Something to Say: 6 Plays on Age, The Covenant, What Rough Beast, et Mickey & Joe (Good. Bad. Ugly. Dirty), le Théâtre Ouest End s'est toujours engagé à faire du théâtre qui pose les grandes questions. Qui sommes-nous en tant qu'individus dans notre contexte politique, historique et social? C'est dans cet esprit que nous proposons une cinquième soirée de 2 courtes pièces par Ann Lambert et Debra Kirshenbaum, chacune examinant un dilemme moral de nature différente, avec une touche d'humour :

Cette soirée de lectures dramatiques promet d'être différente : vous, le public, sera invité (si vous le souhaitez) à peser sur les choix faits par les personnages. Ont-ils fait ce qu'il fallait ? Qu’es ce qu’est la bonne chose a faire ? Existe-t-il une bonne réponse à ce dilemme ?
Cet événement mettra en vedette une formidable troupe locale (détails à venir !) et se déroule dans la galerie du Théâtre Centaur.
