Slow Run Club is partnering with Manchester Parks as part of their ongoing commitment to making parks safer for women and girls.
Join us for 3km laps around Platt Fields Park! Starting at 4 PM, a new lap will set off every 20 minutes. Do one lap or keep going for a longer run, it’s completely up to you.
Everyone is welcome to this event! Whether you’re a seasoned runner, just starting out, curious about running, or simply want to support raising awareness for women’s safety.
Running together is a great way to feel safer, so we’re inviting local run clubs to join us. This is a perfect opportunity to find a club that suits you.
We are offering earlier laps before sunset for those who prefer not to run in the dark but still want to take part.
Head torches will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, but please bring your own if you have one! Dress brightly and bring lights or glow-in-the-dark accessories to help us light up the park.
