About this Event
MoonFall is an immersive performance that explores desire, climate change, community, and our relationship with the cosmos. At times poignant and at others delightful, MoonFall tells a story of the Sun and Moon's dualistic orbit and the humans whose movements push and pull on their natural world.
MoonFall bridges classical and contemporary styles, and blurs the barrier between audience and performers. We invite you to step into a fantasy world where you will fall in love with the dramatic characters, powerful choreography, and captivating soundtrack, influence elements of the performance, and participate in the unfolding story! Act 2 of the ballet will feature three synchronous scenes, each taking place in a separate space. We invite you to choose your own path to experience these spaces, perhaps even following your favorite character from room to room.
Two innovative Austin arts organizations, and pool their creativity and resources to bring together this unique theatrical experience with 12 local Austin professional dancers and a live chamber orchestra of 13 Austin musicians.

Red Nightfall Dance Theatre believes that the arts should be accessible to everyone. If you are an artist, educator, or if the price of sliding scale admission is prohibitive to you, you can use the Promo Code ARTIST to when purchasing a General Admission* ticket and the price will change to $20. We have a limited amount of these seats set aside for each performance. This is honor system - if you can afford to purchase a ticket at full price, please do so!
