Moon Soul is a high-energy soul and rock band from New York City -- a fun, funny, crowd-interactive outfit that blends the sounds of Sly & the Family Stone, The Zombies, Fela Kuti, and The Police into something funky and totally original.

Balancing powerful and raw sound with fearless experimentation, they seamlessly blend funk, rock, hip-hop, r&b, and world music influences in a unique way that captivates and inspires audiences. 

Based in Washington, DC, they have quickly established themselves as a headlining act and as broad-reaching collaborators, drawing large crowds at some of DC's most iconic regional venues (Songbyrd, Pearl Street Warehouse) and community music festivals (Fridays at the Fountain, AdMo/Petworth Porchfest).
